About this event

The Greater Boston Social Dance Program offers a series of social dance classes designed to help children develop essential social skills in both formal and informal settings. Through learning—and, more importantly, practicing—proper social etiquette, students gain confidence by knowing how to carry themselves not only in the ballroom but in everyday life. Participants learn the value of a firm handshake, eye contact, good posture, and making a strong first impression. Instruction also includes standing as a sign of respect, everyday etiquette tips, escorting and seating partners, and the importance of engaging, respectful conversation.
