About this event

Required Items : (Bring to Class)

* 4 passport photos,

* 1 copy of driver's license (front & back),

* 1 copy of MA LTC (front & back),

* Please bring an additional $25 for 3 digital fingerprint cards needed to submit with applications.

* Please bring snacks and a lunch to the course. We will have short breaks throughout the course.

This course offers hands-on training for basic knowledge necessary to safely operate, load, and shoot a semi-automatic pistol. The Don Firearms offers this course within the classroom including 3 hours range time to provide sufficient opportunity to achieve the attitude and skills necessary for passing all shooting qualifications. Different than other courses, our Nonresident course gives students time to take pistols apart, clean them, and reassemble them. This course meets the standard requirements for many nonresident concealed carry permits like the Rhode Island Weapons Carry Permit (WCP), Connecticut Pistol Permit (CTPP), Utah Nonresident license, Florida nonresident Conceal Carry Weapons (CCW) permit, Maryland HQL (Handgun Qualification License) and so many more. Students will obtain both an NRA certification upon completion and the supporting documents to submit nonresident documents. We shall shoot .45cal, .40cal, 9mm, and .22lr for the course qualification.

(This course counts for half of the requirements for NY and DC. We will have instructors from both states coming to complete those requirements. Additional fees associated for each of those classes.)

CAVEAT : We allot time for all necessary shooting qualifications during our free range time. HOWEVER, if you do not pass ANY qualifications, additional fees will be assessed per nonresident license. (Rhode Island will need a 1hr private range time to complete the 30 rounds shooting qualification. Maryland will need a 1hr private range time to complete the 25 rounds shooting qualification. Please note there will be fees assessed for that paid to TDF).
