Lyrical Tech

About this event

In this lyrical technique-focused class, we’ll blend ballet-based foundations with the expressive, fluid movement of jazz and contemporary dance. Exercises emphasize control, alignment, and musicality while encouraging dancers to connect deeply to the emotion and storytelling within the music. Class includes a structured warm-up, floorwork, and across-the-floor progressions designed to build strength, coordination, and seamless transitions. Expect movement that prioritizes continuous flow—moving in and out of the floor, traveling through space with turns, leaps, and extensions, and exploring dynamic shifts in energy and texture. This class is open to all levels, with modifications and challenges offered so every dancer feels supported. Whether you’re new to lyrical or returning to your roots, you’ll leave feeling stronger, more expressive, and more connected to your movement.
