Sociological Book Club, Thursday, November 19, 11:00 am: Tony Corsentino of Winchester Public Library will facilitate discussion of Tracy Kidder’s Rough Sleepers. Author Kidder has been lauded as the “master of non-fiction narrative”—in this book he offers the inspiring life of gifted doctor, Jim O’Connell, Boston Health Care for the Homeless. Selected as a best book of the year by NPR, it depicts how a Harvard Medical School graduate sought to make a difference and recognize that those without are a priority.
