About this event

This monthly book group is for middle-grade readers, and features discussions and fun activities. This month, we're reading Stepping Stones by Lucy Knisley. In this graphic novel, Jen moves out to the country and has to put up with her mom and her mom's new boyfriend, as well as his kids. Suddenly part of a larger family in a new place, Jen isn't sure there is a place for her in this different world. Copies of the book will be available at South Boston Branch's circulation desk starting October 20. This program is for ages 9-12. No registration required. Accessibility Notice: We strive to make our events accessible. To request a disability accommodation and/or language services, contact Dani Crickman at Please allow at least two weeks to arrange accommodation. Programming at the Boston Public Library is funded through private support. To learn more about supporting the Library, please visit the Boston Public Library Fund's website: https://bplfund.org/
