Rejoice as the Boston Pops return for performances filled with holiday music favorites, the jubilant Pops sing-along, and a visit from Santa Claus himself.
Started in 1973 by Boston Pops Conductor Arthur Fiedler, these concerts take place in the magical atmosphere of world-famous Symphony Hall, beautifully decorated to evoke the season's charm and magic.
The Kids' Matinees are shorter, approximately one hour, with no intermission and a visit with Santa afterward. Special 11 am Kids' Matinees are offered on December 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 23, and 24.
Tickets are free for children 2 and under; contact the box office for details. Children ages 4 and under are not allowed to attend the evening performances.
