About this event

Join us for an exciting selection of after-school STEM and robotics programs for students in grades K-6, brought to you by Minds In Motion and Snapology.

**Minds In Motion STEM Programs:** 1. **14 in 1 Robot Adventure (Grades 3-6)** – Every Monday from 3:15 to 4:15 pm, participants will receive a solar robot kit and learn about solar energy by constructing 14 different solar-powered robots that operate on land and water. This hands-on experience promotes creativity and understanding of renewable energy. Classes run from September 28 to November 9 at the Freeman Kennedy School Library.

2. **AI Smart Core 4 Robot (Grades K-2)** – Every Tuesday from 3:15 to 4:15 pm, students will build their own AI SmartCore 4 Robot, featuring modular vehicles powered by AI technology. With 42 easy-to-snap-together parts and a rechargeable battery, this program encourages new builders to explore robotics and engineering. Classes take place from September 29 to November 17 at the H. Olive Day School Library.

**Snapology Programs:** 1. **Robotics: Creature Creator (Grades K-2)** – Every Monday from 3:15 to 4:15 pm, students will design robotic models inspired by their imaginative creatures, gaining skills in simple machines, programming, and motion sensors using a Bluetooth-connected app. Classes run from September 28 to November 23 at the H. Olive Day School Library.

2. **Space Wars Robotics (Grades 3-6)** – Every Tuesday from 3:15 to 4:15 pm, students will work in pairs to create robotics challenges inspired by Star Wars, utilizing LEGO® Spike Prime Kits and programming via iPad Tablets. Classes are scheduled from September 29 to December 1 at the Freeman Kennedy School Library.

Additionally, students can participate in **Karate & Stranger Danger** classes (Grades K-6) on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:15 to 4:15 pm. Focusing on self-awareness and safety, this ongoing program teaches American Kenpo Karate and safety strategies.
