- ➤ A Massachusetts bill on Beacon Hill proposes to gradually raise the minimum wage to $20 by 2030 and boost tipped wages, starting with $16.25 in 2026 (lawmakers will review the proposal through March 3). MetroWest Daily News
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Massachusetts DPH reported one child and 29 adults died this flu season from Seasonal type A/H3N2. Health officials urge everyone aged 6 months and older to get the flu vaccine and wash hands frequently to lower the very high risk of infection. MetroWest Daily News

- ➤ The New England Patriots, fresh off a 38-10 win, will host the Chargers in the Wild Card round at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, Jan. 11 at 8:15 p.m. Tickets range from $207+ to over $1,000. MetroWest Daily News
