- ➤ Labcorp plans to close its nonclinical lab at 15 Wiggins Ave in Bedford and lay off 94 workers from the facility’s 103 employees. The layoffs will begin this spring and finish by Jan. 14, 2027, with a few workers reassigned to remote jobs or nearby facilities. MetroWest Daily News

- ➤ Framingham Public Schools and the City’s Parks & Recreation announced on Jan. 16 that they are reviving the Blazers Band—a historic group that welcomes local musicians for rehearsals in Framingham.
