  • The MetroWest Boston Visitors Bureau will host its annual tourism summit and legislative breakfast on Feb. 26 at the Renaissance Framingham Hotel & Conference Center, where experts will share travel updates and discuss plans for a regional fan zone ahead of the World Cup.  MetroWest Daily News

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Framingham State’s Christa McAuliffe Center will host events to mark the 40th anniversary of the Challenger disaster. The center will lead a space mission simulation on Wednesday, Jan. 28 at the Challenger Learning Center and remembrance programs on Saturday, Jan. 31 — including a tribute concert.  MetroWest Daily News
