- ➤ Yesterday, Jan. 28, Framingham State University's Christa McAuliffe Center held a moment of silence in the darkened planetarium with staff and Millis Middle School students to mark the 40th anniversary of the Space Shuttle Challenger Disaster (Christa McAuliffe was to be the first teacher in space). - ➤ Today, the city of Framingham is enforcing a temporary parking ban from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Arlington, Alexander, Waushakum, Eames, Henry, Lexington, Proctor, Pearl, Otis, Melrose, Beech, Brewster, and Deloss streets to help clear snow and widen roadways. City of Framingham

- ➤ The Patriots will hold a free send-off rally at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro on Sunday, Feb. 1 starting at 9 a.m.; the event features musical performances by Dropkick Murphys, appearances by cheerleaders and alumni, and team addresses before the squad flies to the Super Bowl in Santa Clara.
