GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ A water main break occurred on Salem End Road between Singletary Lane and Temple Street yesterday, shutting off water to 28 homes and causing a detour. Crews mobilized to repair the break + begin road restoration later. City of Framingham
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ New data from Realtor.com shows that the median home price in Middlesex County fell 2.8% from $775,000 in October to $753,200 in November (based on recorded home sales) with single-family homes and townhomes following similar trends. MetroWest Daily News
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Anna Freeman (Medway senior captain) earned over 97,000 votes to win last week’s Girls Athlete award while the Daily News poll now features candidates from local teams; the vote remains open until Sunday, Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. MetroWest Daily News
- ➤ Fans can vote in the Daily News poll for the Boys Athlete of the Week, Feb 2-8, featuring local stars in wrestling, hockey, basketball, and swimming. Voting closes at noon Monday, Feb 16 (last week’s winner Aidan Barboza received over 20,000 votes). MetroWest Daily News
