- ➤ WalletHub ranked Massachusetts first in education using 18 measures today and found that over 47% of adults hold a bachelor’s degree while nearly 22% earned a graduate degree. The Boston-Cambridge-Newton area is among the nation’s top 10 (educational metro) markets. MetroWest Daily News
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ State officials report drought conditions across most of Massachusetts; central areas like Framingham are in a Level-2 Significant Drought despite the recent snowfall. Residents are urged to reduce water use (by fixing leaks and shortening showers) to help ease low water supplies. MetroWest Daily News

- ➤ Rep. Seth Moulton launched a primary challenge against longtime Sen. Ed Markey, citing a need for fresh leadership + arguing the senator should step aside as he nears 80. Two other candidates are also in the race for the nomination ahead of the Sept. 1 primary. MetroWest Daily News
