- ➤ Framingham is accepting nominations for the 2026 Women’s History Month Exhibit until 11:59 p.m. on March 1. Organized by the Framingham 325th Celebration Committee * and local city partners, the exhibit will honor six to eight women whose work has shaped the community’s history. MetroWest Daily News
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Framingham State has partnered with the T.H. Chan School of Medicine at UMass in Worcester to offer a new Baccalaureate MD Pathway Program for undergraduates, low-income and first-generation students preparing for medical school. The program will include coordinated summer sessions (after sophomore and junior years) with clinical exposure and exam prep. The Gatepost

- ➤ Framingham State women’s hockey team began using a new trailer adjacent to Loring Arena for equipment storage and meetings on Feb. 5, easing their morning routine. Officials said the trailer will be removed during upcoming roof work but plan to bring it back for the next season. The Gatepost
- ➤ The Framingham State Rams beat the Anna Maria Amcats 71-55 on Feb. 21, finishing the regular season with an 11-3 conference record and a 15-10 overall record, and they have home-court advantage in today's MASCAC Semifinals against the Salem State Vikings. The Gatepost
