- ➤ The MetroWest YMCA received a grant on Monday, Mar. 2 to expand character programs at its summer camps in Framingham, Natick & Hopkinton. - ➤ Bald eagles have made a strong comeback after nearly disappearing a century ago, with over 100 pairs recorded in Massachusetts, especially near the Quabbin Reservoir + Connecticut River. Observers are advised to keep a safe distance from nests during winter courtship. MetroWest Daily News
