- ➤ Framingham received $3.15 million in federal funding on Tuesday, Mar. 3 to renovate the former Marian High School at 273 Union Ave. Renovation plans include HVAC upgrades and ADA-compliant features, with work by JJ Cardosi Inc. scheduled to begin soon. MetroWest Daily News
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The state Student Opportunity Act, which has provided $2.3 billion to local schools since 2019, enters its final year. Gov. Healey’s fiscal 2027 budget proposal will cut the minimum per-pupil aid, and state leaders plan to revise the act to adjust for declining enrollment and federal funding cuts. MetroWest Daily News
