  • Benchmark Senior Living is honoring women residents and staff across its 70 Northeast communities during Women’s History Month. The program features events through March, spotlighting inspiring figures such as Holocaust survivor Maria Balogh (from Mansfield) and rights advocate Diana Friday.  MetroWest Daily News

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Massachusetts residents spent 1.51% of their household income on groceries, the lowest share among states, while areas like Mississippi spent up to 2.60% as food prices continue to rise and squeeze budgets (WalletHub survey).  MetroWest Daily News

SPORTS NEWS

  • Eastern Massachusetts Senior Softball is accepting registrations for players 50 and older for its season starting in late April and running through early October (games are held in Wayland, Medfield, Ashland and Framingham). The league adds about 60 new players each season to boost community ties.  MetroWest Daily News
