- ➤ Framingham Water & Sewer Division began a water main replacement on Johnson and Purchase Streets on March 30, installing a temporary bypass system that limits parking and may cause traffic delays on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for 8 to 10 weeks (weather may affect timing). - ➤ Health officials report that the highly mutated COVID 'Cicada' variant (BA.3.2) is now tracked in Massachusetts, with wastewater samples showing its presence since January. Experts say symptoms remain typical and advise testing and booster shots to stay protected. MetroWest Daily News
