- ➤ On Tuesday, April 15, at 5:25 p.m., heavy winds knocked down a wall under construction on Pearl Street in Framingham, and four workers (mostly minor injuries, with one man lowered from a roof after a back injury) were taken to MetroWest Medical Center. MetroWest Daily News

- ➤ On Tuesday, Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell said franchise owners of Dunkin, McDonald's and Subway stores broke child labor laws by not getting work permits for 16 and 17-year-olds and letting them work extra hours—citations totaling $226,385 were issued. MetroWest Daily News
- ➤ April 21 is Patriot’s Day—a Massachusetts state holiday that celebrates the start of the American Revolution—and most state, county, and municipal offices will be closed while federal offices, banks, and retailers remain open. The Boston Marathon will prompt road closures and parking restrictions in Framingham from 7:30 a.m. to 1:55 p.m. MetroWest Daily News
- ➤ City officials rebranded the city information line as Framingham 4-1-1 to help residents get quick answers about city services. The service is managed by Framingham Public Library and now has a dedicated email address — the city will soon pilot a language line for live interpretation in over 200 languages.
