- ➤ The Framingham Human Relations Commission will open a 1994 time capsule on April 29 at 7 p.m. outside the Memorial Building Plaza before moving indoors to Historic Nevins Hall, where the free event includes remarks and a community conversation on progress against discrimination — inviting discussion on our shared history. - ➤ Framingham High School science teacher Rebecca Maynard was honored on April 17 in Anaheim with the Robert E. Yager Foundation Excellence in Teaching Award by the National Science Teaching Association, joining five other educators in recognizing outstanding science instruction. MetroWest Daily News

- ➤ New data shows that Framingham apartment rents fell from a median of $2,625 to $2,464 on April 23, reflecting a 6% drop from March. One-bedroom and two-bedroom rates remained nearly unchanged, keeping local rents 22% below the state median and 32% above the national average. MetroWest Daily News
