TD Bank announced it will close 38 branches nationwide on June 5—including its branch in Framingham—and six of those closures will affect local customers.

Massachusetts officials are asking the public to send in designs for a new state seal after critics say the current one is racist because of its Native American figure and sword-holding arm.
Proposals must be submitted online until June 18 and will be reviewed at public hearings before final recommendations are made to the governor by July 29 — a plan that could reshape state symbols.

Four student-athletes from the Learning Center for the Deaf in Framingham earned national honors from the National Deaf Interscholastic Athletic Association for their roles in the 2024-25 winter basketball season.
Freshman Yarleiry 'Kai' Gabriel, senior Faith Kirlis, senior Andrew Riebe and senior Xavier DeLeon received awards including All-American selections and team honors — with DeLeon named Division 2 boys basketball Player of the Year for the third straight season.
