  • Police responded on May 29 at 4:23 p.m. to a 911 call at the Ashland MBTA Commuter Rail platform and arrested two Marlborough men—one found with a high-capacity magazine and the other later located in nearby woods—who are now charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and other firearm offenses.  MetroWest Daily News

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • The City of Framingham’s Department of Public Works will host its annual Household Hazardous Waste Day on June 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Public Works Operations Center at 100 Western Avenue — residents must bring proof of residency to drop off household chemicals safely, and commercial waste will not be accepted.  City of Framingham
