- ➤ Framingham officials said the Friday Night Concert Series will run from June 27 until Aug. 22 with concerts held in a different park every Friday from 6—8 p.m. The series will kick off on June 27 with a Stars and Stripes celebration featuring live music, food trucks, and a fireworks show while no concert will be held on July 4. - ➤ Sister Jeanne Carol Leahy, a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston who served as a teacher and parish minister, died Wednesday, June 11. Visiting hours will be held Monday, June 16 from 9:15—10:00 a.m. with a prayer service at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass and burial in Natick arranged by Norton, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home. - ➤ Authorities announced yesterday that they solved the 1980 murder of Katharina Reitz Brow in Ayer using forensic genetic genealogy testing—DNA evidence linked the crime to deceased Joseph Leo Boudreau, a Natick resident who worked in Framingham—exonerating previously convicted Kenneth Waters.
