- ➤ Under the Big Beautiful Bill signed on July 4, Massachusetts will have the third largest average tax cut in 2026 with a relief of $5,139 as the law makes 2017 tax cuts permanent and reduces spending on programs like SNAP and Medicaid. County data shows the relief varies — Hampden County gets $2,658 while Nantucket County receives $5,858, and the measures will cost over $3 trillion nationally over the next decade.
