- ➤ Last week, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued recalls for over 90K Mitsubishi vehicles, 78,989 Jeep Wranglers, 3,749 Mercedes-Benz models and 2,885 Ram trucks due to parts issues that could lead to sudden failures—dealers will replace the faulty parts free of charge and send notification letters from Sept. 2 to Oct. 17 for vehicles registered in states including Massachusetts. This action follows reports of malfunctioning liftgate gas springs, remote start antenna cables, loose steering bolts and incorrect instrument panel clusters. MetroWest Daily News
