GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Massachusetts officials have narrowed the new state flag design choices—48 contenders—from more than 1,100 entries. The final design will be chosen in a later process. MetroWest Daily News
- ➤ Framingham officials partnered with the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, Commonwealth Electrical Technologies, and Leidos to launch an on-street electric vehicle charging pilot program and narrowed 11 survey sites to four after resident feedback on August 26. The Lincoln Street location near the public library received the highest support—officials will decide on the final spots on September 23. The Frame

- ➤ Anchored in Recovery held its second annual Overdose Awareness Vigil on the steps of the Framingham Memorial Building on August 27, 2025.
