Framingham held its 24th 9/11 anniversary remembrance ceremony at the Sept.

11th Living Memorial in Cushing Park on Sept. 11th—Fire Lt. Steven Jones, Police Deputy Chief Victor Pereira, and community members read the names of local victims, including Judith Larocque who was killed in the terror attacks.

Today, The Big E opens in Massachusetts offering over 60 new food items including treats like pickle ice cream sundae, lobster nachos, and elote corn dogs alongside classic fair fare.

The fair runs through Sept. 28 and features vendors on locations — such as New England Avenue and Springfield Road — highlighting creative culinary options.

Local leaders assessed the cost of hosting the Boston Marathon and previewed the upcoming District 3 City Council election—spotlighting Circle of Hope’s support for housing insecure residents including Framingham High School students.
