- ➤ Massachusetts law lets drivers tint the top six inches of the windshield if it does not block the view, and permits up to 35% tint on other windows—drivers with a doctor’s note can use darker tint while violators may face fines and license suspensions. MetroWest Daily News

- ➤ Massachusetts lawmakers are considering bills that would ban seven food dyes from competitive foods and non-sweetened carbonated water sold in school cafeterias—if passed, the ban will take effect Dec. 31, 2028. MetroWest Daily News
