  • Framingham will host the 2nd Annual Find Your People Fair on Saturday, September 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.—the free event is held at Historic Nevins Hall in the Memorial Building where over 50 groups will help residents age 18 and older connect.  City of Framingham
  • Framingham residents can join a festive fall event on October 18 at Cushing Memorial Park where the Police Department, Fire Department — and Library Bookmobile offer pumpkin painting, arts and crafts and hayrides from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.  City of Framingham

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Framingham Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Robert Tremblay said at the school committee meeting on September 17 that no ICE activity occurred at FPS facilities despite national deportation concerns—he noted that local enrollment declines have led officials to draft a resolution addressing fears over immigration enforcement.  The Frame

  • Framingham Public Works and Weston and Sampson engineers are inspecting city-owned drainage systems to reduce stormwater run-off—residents in neighborhoods such as Dunning Elementary, Gleason Pond, Hop Brook and Saxonville Pond may see work crews in safety attire until October.  MetroWest Daily News
