- ➤ Bethany Hill Place welcomed three new board members—Dianne Baxter, Melinda Proctor, and Lisa Trainor—and announced Bruce Rhodes as chair, Shauna Downey as vice chair, and Amanda Zuretti as clerk/secretary. - ➤ The City of Framingham is asking for a volunteer from a non-profit to join the Community Center Advisory Committee after the previous member resigned—applications must include a resume or cover letter by November 5 at 11:59 p.m. and will be reviewed by the mayor. City of Framingham
- ➤ Framingham City Council is considering an opt-in sustainability code for new buildings while a Home Rule Charter question will appear on fall ballots, and the community spotlight features Leandrinho Goiaba—founder of Radio Insuperável and a key leader in the local Brazilian community. The Frame
- ➤ The MBTA announced rail service on the Framingham/Worcester Commuter Line will be suspended on November 1-2 and 8-9 between Framingham and South Station for track and signal upgrades. It will also be suspended between Worcester and Framingham on November 15-16 and 22-23, and free bus shuttles — including local and express options — will replace train service during these weekends.
