- ➤ Framingham State University’s Danforth Art Museum and School will celebrate its 50th anniversary on November 22 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at The Village Hall—offering a VIP pre-reception, silent auction, live music and culinary delights to support future exhibitions and educational programs. - ➤ A Framingham Public Schools teacher resigned after a social media video appeared to celebrate Charlie Kirk's death, and she is no longer receiving pay or benefits. - ➤ After a decade working as a surgical technician at Massachusetts General Hospital, MassBay alum Danny Iagatta returned to the college on the Framingham campus to pursue an Associate Degree in Nursing through the MassReconnect program—he is taking prerequisite courses while continuing to work at MGH to build on his healthcare experience. - ➤ Laura Hudock was named the new Honors Program director at Framingham State and is expanding data collection to boost student engagement—she is using focus groups and success scripts to review program impact and equity. - ➤ Data from Realtor.com showed that in August, Middlesex County homes sold for a lower median price of $800,000, a 1.2% drop from July’s $810,000; single-family home prices fell by 2.8% while townhomes dropped slightly.
