- ➤ Framingham will hold its annual Veterans Day ceremony at 11:11 a.m. on Nov. 11 at Veterans Memorial Park with Lt. Col. Dennis B. Ford as keynote speaker—if weather is poor, the event will move indoors to Cushing Memorial Chapel. A pre-ceremony memorial tour will begin at 7:45 a.m. at the Memorial Building. MetroWest Daily News
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The MIAA high school football playoffs saw 122 teams complete 61 Round of 16 games with scores updated across all eight divisions; a highlight was a 38—0 win by St. John’s Prep over Framingham on Nov. 7. The Elite 8 matchups will be played on Friday, November 14 with scheduled kickoff times for each division. MetroWest Daily News
