ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Residents returned to Towers on Nov 19 after a fire started on Nov 12 in room 671 when a non-certified light fixture ignited — the sprinkler system limited water damage and 22 students were temporarily relocated while repairs continue. The Gatepost

- ➤ On Nov. 20, Eversource cut power on the west side of State Street around 2:25 p.m. to service a transformer near Maple, affecting the McCarthy Center, the Welcome Center, and local homes — power was restored by 3:13 p.m. with backup systems keeping emergency equipment running. The Gatepost

- ➤ Clara Machado began her role as area director of Larned, Peirce, and Horace Mann halls at Framingham State and brings a strong background in student affairs from Clark University and experience as a resident director. - ➤ Natick's boys soccer team last reached the state final 38 years ago when a five overtime match ended in a 2-1 loss to Springfield Cathedral. - ➤ The Framingham State Rams lost 3-1 to the Bridgewater State Bears on November 15th in the MASCAC Championship game — ending their season at 18-13 overall and 6-2 in conference play. Junior Natalie Reynolds, named Offensive Player of the Year, said the team fought hard and plans to return to the championship next season. The Gatepost
- ➤ Local high school soccer players were named All-American and All-New England by United Soccer Coaches of America—honors given to standout athletes who helped lead their teams to key playoff rounds.
