- ➤ Framingham officials invite residents to the 34th annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Block Party on Friday, Dec. 5 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Building Plaza and Union Avenue, where free activities include a sing-along, storytime, and treats — hot chocolate and cookies. - ➤ Councilor Tracey Bryant helped launch a GoFundMe to aid families after a fire at Interfaith Terrace on Nov. 30, which displaced residents and left two women hospitalized.
