- ➤ The Salvation Army launched its annual Red Kettle Campaign on Dec. 8 and now seeks volunteers across several regions to raise funds for local families receiving food, gifts, and emergency services amid rising costs (each bell ringer supports nearly 250 meals). - ➤ Framingham will host the Youth Summit for ages 13–22 on Sunday, Dec. 14 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Main Framingham Public Library (49 Lexington Street), where youth can join roundtable discussions, hear from past council members, and learn how to participate in local government. - ➤ Access Framingham is a digital forum that lets residents share ideas (community media hub) with tools, training and space while following FCC rules and member policies to keep broadcasts legal and respectful. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Massachusetts gas prices fell to $2.97 per gallon on Monday, down from $3.01 last week, as the U.S. Energy Information Administration reported + state prices remained about 0.5% lower than the national average. MetroWest Daily News

- ➤ City Historian Frederic Wallace will step down Dec. 31 after many years of service, and Mayor Sisitsky is seeking a volunteer to help preserve Framingham’s history.
