- ➤ Big Blue Swim School is opening its second location at 235 Old Connecticut Path in Framingham, with classes starting Dec. 15. A ribbon cutting is set for noon on Friday, Dec. 12, and a free holiday event on Sunday, Dec. 14 (featuring discounts and food trucks) will welcome families. MetroWest Daily News

- ➤ City of Framingham invites youth ages 13 to 22 to join the Youth Summit at the Public Library (49 Lexington St.) on Sunday, Dec. 14 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.; local leaders and former council members will lead roundtable discussions to show teens how to engage with government. MetroWest Daily News

- ➤ Hudson River Foods recalled its Doughy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough after the FDA identified potential salmonella in 12-ounce packages sold in 15 states, including Massachusetts. The recall remains active as the product is a class I risk + it may cause serious illness. MetroWest Daily News
