- ➤ The City of Framingham and Downtown Framingham, Inc. invite residents to vote in the Holiday Window Decorating Contest from Dec. 11 to Dec. 18 (featuring displays along Concord St, Union Ave, and Hollis St). Winners will be announced at a downtown ceremony on Dec. 19 at 10:00 a.m. City of Framingham

- ➤ Framingham native Cameron Hays was among 12 recruits who graduated on Dec. 5 from the Worcester County Sheriff's Office Basic Recruit Training Academy at Anna Maria College Zecco Auditorium; the paid 13‑week program offers both classroom and field training — applications for the next class will open next spring.
