About this event

Start your day rooted. Join Ulia on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 7:30 to 8:30am, in the Moon Room at Common Street Spiritual Center.

“Find your center, steady your breath, and carry it with you.”

This morning practice draws on the Ayurvedic five elements to wake the body gently and settle the mind before the day picks up speed. Smooth vinyasa flows move into longer-held balancing postures, with grounding sequences, one-legged standing balances, and deep core work that builds stability from the inside out.

We’ll explore the edge between effort and ease, learning to wobble, reset, and stay calm when things feel unsteady. A short closing savasana helps you step out feeling clear, centered, and ready to hold your balance through whatever comes next.

All levels welcome, with options to scale postures up or down. Bring a mat and a block if you have one.

Suggested donation: $15 members, $20 guests. Pay what you can, all are welcome. Cash or Venmo at the door.

About Ulia

Hi, I’m Ulia! I’m a certified 600-hour Ayurvedic Health Counselor, and I love helping people feel more at home in their bodies through nourishing food, mindful movement, and simple daily rituals rooted in Ayurveda. I’m also deepening my own practice through a 300-hour yoga teacher training, so what I share on the mat comes from both study and lived experience.

I believe well-being grows when we live in tune with our own nature and the natural rhythms around us. Ayurveda reminds us that balance looks different for everyone, and my classes reflect that: you’ll always have options to make a posture gentler or stronger, so you can practice in a way that feels right for you today.

As a mother, I’m learning every day to slow down, find steadiness in the middle of a full life, and come back to what truly matters. That’s the feeling I hope you take home from class.

Ulia also teaches Reset & Let Go , an afternoon practice on Thursdays, 4:00 to 5:00pm, in the Moon Room.
