- ➤ USA TODAY Network's poll advanced eight Massachusetts-made food brands into Round 3—featuring matchups like Ken’s Salad Dressing versus Near East Rice Pilaf, Friendly’s Ice Cream against Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies, Cape Cod Potato Chips versus Ocean Spray Cranberries, and Teddie Peanut Butter against Kayem Hot Dogs. - ➤ The City of Framingham launched a curbside composting pilot program in partnership with Black Earth Compost on August 11th to give eligible households a free curbside bin + a roll of liner bags, part of plans by the Mayoral Composting Task Force.
