- ➤ Chipotle Mexican Grill is planning to open its second restaurant in Framingham next month at 573 Worcester Road — sharing a building with Starbucks. The new restaurant will offer more than 2,600 square feet and 47 seats with daily hours from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and the Framingham Board of License Commissioners will review its permit on Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. MetroWest Daily News

- ➤ Due to paving work later this week, hydrant flushing on Edgell Road has been rescheduled from the week of September 29 to this week with operations running from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The rest of the hydrant flushing program will begin on September 29 — keeping the water system on track. - ➤ Framingham City Council debated giving itself power to grant special permits for large development projects—city leaders would vote on permits for projects with at least 75,000 square feet.
